Then he started to get frustrated and said... forget the remote, I am just gonna move it myself...

Then he gets really frustrated and lays down and cries, and then the kicker is he shoves the remote under the couch (see the picture below)... like he just didn't even want to see it anymore!!! Such a goofy guy!

The other night Zach and his preschool class entertained up with some singing. They say 4 or 5 songs all about snowmena and snowflakes.

Happy 1st Birthday Marley

January 28, 2012 was the day our Marley was born. One whole year ago.

He sure has changed in one year. Gone from a little puppy that could fit in the palm of our hands to a very large dog that you sure wouldn't want to get in a fight with!

On his birthday he got a new dog bone. I am sure he had it devoured in 60minutes. That is usually how long it takes him :)

Here is our baby on his car ride home with us! Oh, soo cute and cuddly!

Then a couple of weeks into living with us. Still so cute.

Then starting to get pesky and playing with the kids.  Oh, Marley how did we ever live without you?

We Love Dance - Dance Show

Zach got glasses

About 3 weeks ago we took this little guy in for an eye exam.  He had his early childhood kindergarten screening with the school district this last fall and they expressed some concerns with his vision screening. We then did his 4 year well child visit with our doctor and again his vision screening was not perfect.  So to the eye doctor we go. To my surprise Zach did GREAT!  He listened, he sat still, he let the Dr. look in his eyes, and the result was yes indeed our little guy needed to get some spectacles like his Mom and Dad and both Grandmas, some cousins, and many of his Aunts and Uncles on both sides of the family. (It comes as no surprise one of our kids - if not all 3 someday - needs glasses). We let Zach pick them out the glasses all by himself. He picked blue ones. He thinks they are terrific. Not once has he not wanted to wear them or showed us any sort of reluctance. He says he can see better too.  I am so glad we went for his early childhood screen this fall already - you just have to do it before kindergarten. Therefore we could have waited anther 1 1/2 years before we did it!!  I think my Zach is adorable with his glasses. He is just so cute.

Not quite sure what this kid is trying to do, but I am certainly glad there is a code on the maximum distance that spinals on a railing can be apart.

He thinks it is pretty funny and just keeps doing it.

Such a cute giggle this little guy has.

Bubble Bath

In our house Mommy usually does all the shopping for birthday presents and Christmas presents for the kids.

Well this last Christmas Daddy comes home all proud because he bought a present for the kids: 

 Bubble Bath!

They sure do enjoy the bubbles. 

Snow tubing fun

Gracie and Zach got to do a little snow tubing with Uncle Kevin, Makayla, and Taylor a few weekends back.

They thought it was great, although they think Mommy and Daddy should buy them helmets too :)

These 4 make quite the crew sometimes. They have lots of fun together.

4 seemed to be to many on the tube, so Zach switched and rode up front on the Snowmobile with Uncle Kevin.

Gotta love the winter fun!

Ice skating fun

I was cleaning off the camera and realized I didn't ever get these photos up as a posting.

This is the 3rd Annual Black Friday Malecek Open Skating event.  We have done this 3 years now - gone to open skating the day after Thanksgiving in at the Redwood Ice Arena.

The last 2 years it has just been my kiddos and myself with the Nibbe's joining us.

This year we added Makayla, Taylor, and Jana to the event.
