Winter get-a-way #5: Sledding

 From swimsuits to snowsuits all in a weekends fun.  After one night at the waterpark hotel the next adventure was heading to Mankato to spend the next night at the Cornish house. Sunday night was a lovely meal at the wonderful Mexican Village. Monday moring was sledding at Grandma and Granpa's cabin.

It was a beautiful morning for sledding and some nice fresh snow helped.

Little Jared wiped out... every time we got him in his car seat he would fall asleep like in 30 seconds time.  His nap schedule was just a little off.

Winter get-a-way #4: Hotel Room Eating

One night in the hotel room and our make-due table arrangements.

Winter get-a-way #3: Waterpark

So here we are down in the water park. Gracelyn, Jesse, and Joe were tall enough to go down the big slides themselves. Zach has about an inch yet to go.

Jared loved the water. He was ready to play.

 

 

Jared just took off on his own. No fear of water for this guy.

Winter get-a-way #2: Waterpark Hotel

 

To continue with our Winter Get-A-Way we started with the Disney on Ice show and then traveled down to Owatonna to a WaterPark.  This is our 3rd year doing a trip to a waterpark. This was our first time at thie Owatonna hotel. The last 2 years we went to Duluth.  So the kids called this the "New Waterpark".

Then we have the whole crew to include little Jared too. Looks like we didn' quite get his swimsuit on yet. The rest are anxious to get down to the pool.

Winter get-a-way #1: Disney on Ice

We had a splendid week-end get-a-way with the Cornish family.

It started with the Disney On Ice show at the Target Center in Minneapolis.

The next several posts will be all about our weekend!! So many activities we involved ourselves in.

This was our first "big" show.

Half way through the show Little Jared finally fell asleep. The show was right during his nap time. Such an adorable little guy.
