Visit to Baby Nash

My very good friend Jill, had a baby about a month ago, baby Nash.

She lives a couple of hours away from us, so a couple of Monday's ago the kids and I went for a visit.

Before the visit, Gracie and I made a baby blanket for the new babe.

See in my family every baby gets a homemade blanket. Either I make them or one of my sisters (depending on who is having the baby!).

Jill doesn't have any sisters, and since I think of her as a sister I thought her kids needed to be in on the homemade baby blanket tradition.

In the photo above Gracie is sure to show off her blanket... which she sleeps with and carries around the house daily.

Gracie had so much fun helping make the blanket.

And here is the treasured little guy. Isn't he a cutie.

Jared Dancing -11mo

Mr. Jared has got some moves.  He moves to the beat or I should say bounces.

 Not sure why he is eating Gracie's Polly Pocket. Everything goes into his mouth these days.

Jared's 1st Haircut

Jared had his first haircut at 11 months. Several people were commenting on how his hair was getting in his eyes, so I agreed it was time.

We have the pre-haircut photo up above.

 The beautitian had her work cut out for her. This little guy did not want to sit still.

Post haircut.  I think he is still mad at me!!!!

Army Shirts

When I got back from my 9 days of Annual Training for the Guards in July I brought home these Army shirts for the kids. Of course I wanted a photo of all three of them wearing them.

 Of course this is almost impossible to do... see my Jared?  He didn't want to sit by his siblings very well.

 So Gracie thought they could just all lay on the floor for the picture... and it kinda worked.

 The rest of the photos are throughout the day. 

 Of course my Zach doesn't want to smile when I ask him too.

 My Jared is already playing dollies. Not sure where his big sister is.

 Jared and Zach had some fun playing.

 Tractors and cars and trucks are already in Jared's blood.

Ear Tube Surgery

Little Jared had surgery 7/19/12 to put tubes in his ears. The surgery was at Redwood Area Hospital.

We needed to be there by 8am for 9am surgery. By 10:30am we were back home. 

 Jared did great overall. All these pictures are before surgery.

They gave him something to drink that would make him a little tired, so he is starting to get a little loopy.

 Then off to surgery he goes. 

 Hopefully this helps and we don't have to hassle with those nasty ear infections or fluid in his ears any more.

Willmar Fest Parade

At the end of June we made it to our annual parade which is the Willmar Fest Parade. 

The kids got lots of candy and had a great time eating it!

Then this year after the parade we went down to the fire station and feasted on the Fireman's Pancake Feed.

We filled our tummy's and then the kids jumped in the bouncer.

 We got to check out the fire trucks too.

Great family day!

Jared 1st words

Well after 3 kids, the third one finally got it right and said "Mom, Mom, Mom" first instead of the "Da, Da, Da" Gracie and Zach did first. Me and Jared we are buddies! This was back in June when he was about 9 months old.

Then this video was to cute to not show off. He jumped himself to sleep. Zach used to do this too.

Gracie riding bike - Zach hotwheels

Gracie got it figured out this year how to ride bike without the training wheels. It was like one day it all just clicked and off she went. 

And then we have little Zachy who can do a mean ride on the Barbie Hotwheels. 

Don't get in this guys way... he is fast!

Swimming Pool

With all the heat the summer has brought we have spent a lot of time in the pool.

Gracie and Zach are little fish and Jared seems to like the water too.

 Marley is turning out to be quite the little water lover too!

He also like to put everything in his mouth and then run around with it.

Swimming with some of the cousins: Rochelle, Makayla, and Taylor
