This guy is soo silly.  His lastest thing is putting on everyone's shoes or in this case boots and then walking around in them.  As you can see he also found Gracelyn's hat!

I guess I philosophy is that as long as he is having a good time and not causing any harm... go with it!

Science project with Papa!

When Grandma and Grandpa Sohre visited at Christmas time they helped the kids put together gingerbread houses. So with this last visit, the kids thought they should do another project. I just so happened to find this Science project in a magazine I was looking at... so we thought we would give it a whirl. It is something about making an egg float in the water.

I am not sure it turned out exactly like it was suppose too, but the end result was that we all had fun giving it a try! 

Sledding with the Daly's and Papa Sohre

Back in the beginning of March we had the joy of Grandma and Grandpa Sohre coming to visit us and to our surprise they brought along the 4 Daly cousins.  

Such a fun day.

We had just gotten a snowfall, so we were pumped to go sledding. And for Marty and I it is super nice to have some big kid helpers to help with our little troops.

I think Gracie idolizes all the big girl cousins. She wanted Maddy to sled down the hill with her every time.

What can we say about Carter?  Gosh he is a good kid... so helpful!

Valentine Date Night

This post is kinda behind schedule... but I thought the other ones were more fun to view first. 

Marty and I don't have to many date nights...   maybe 2 times a year we enjoy a night out without the kids.

This year we splurged and got a baby sitter already at 2pm on the Saturday after Valentine's day. 

We enjoyed a few hours shopping in Willmar and then headed to Granite Falls for a dinner show at the Casino.

We had a fabulous night. The show was great and since we don't take to many pics of just us... I thought I would enlighten with the snapshots from the evening!

This Jare-Bears favorite toy as of late. He props it up on his lap all on his own and plays and plays. Then he pushes the music button and then puts the tools in and out, in and out. Such enjoyment!

Winter get-a-way #6: Bowling

Our grand finale to the weekend-get-away was bowling.

This is something my kids have never done before. They weren't too sure about the shoes at first or the heavy ball, but before we knew it they were having a blast again!

The end of our trip was actually Malts at a local Malt shop. That was the icing to a fabulous trip. Three days goes soo fast. Counting down the days till Weekend-get-away 2014!!!!

Winter get-a-way #5: Sledding

 From swimsuits to snowsuits all in a weekends fun.  After one night at the waterpark hotel the next adventure was heading to Mankato to spend the next night at the Cornish house. Sunday night was a lovely meal at the wonderful Mexican Village. Monday moring was sledding at Grandma and Granpa's cabin.

It was a beautiful morning for sledding and some nice fresh snow helped.
