Deer

This winter we have had quite the viewing of wildlife. Lately it has been the deer. If we look out the window just as we are waking up and the sun is coming up we are sure to see an abundance of deer. I think one time we counted 10. 

The treasure these deer have found is the top of our sewer system mound.  So generally I suppose this area is a little warmer, the snow melts, and some grass is exposed. The deer happen to just LOVE this.

The kids just LOVE watching them.  It is the often the event of the morning. We have learned that if we are in a hurry to get to daycare or preschool, we dare not mention that the deer are out there.  If we do then these little twerps are glued to the window and we get some mighty large amount of tears to get them to do something else, like go potty, or put clothes on.

Marty's favorite thing to do is let Willie out and then then deer of course take off running.

All these pictures are from my bedroom window through the glass... so overall they turned out pretty good.
